The most awaited singing reality show of Indian Television, SA RE GA MA PA is back as Zee TV announces its auditions across India and here in the UK and Europe. The first ever musical talent hunt show on Indian television and overwhelming success of over 18 years under its belt,  Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is back to enthrall our music crazy nation. The most iconic singing reality show is back in its original avatar with exceptional singing quality as its USP that appeals to the younger as well as the older generation alike.

The judges’ panel will comprise of some of the biggest names in the music industry bringing spunk and vibrancy and yet, maintaining the glorious heritage of the show. The quest at Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has always been to showcase India’s best singing talent but this season, the show will also present some mellifluous voices from other places in the Indian subcontinent like Dhaka and Pakistan.

To participate, one needs to be between 18 to 30 years of age and must send in a DVD with two Bollywood/Hindi songs recorded in video to the address on the entry form along with 2 passport size photographs before the 10^th August. The selection process will be completed by the 25^th August and the selected candidates will directly enter the Mumbai auditions on the 28^th of August.

With thousands turning up at auditions across India already, the talent on the show is expected to be better than ever before. Shortlist of finalists announced…

O2’s Indian Soap Star audition teams are one step closer to finding the next star of Zee’s award-winning Indian TV show Pavitra Rishta.

Three lucky people from Birmingham, Slough and Manchester have been picked to go head to head in the national final. Not only will the lucky winner get a part in Pavitra Rishta, watched by a staggering 60 million people, they will also be treated to a week long, 5-star, Bollywood holiday in Mumbai.

The talent, whittled down from 1,800 people, will be judged by a panel consisting of Ronan Dunne, O2 Chief Executive, Andleeb Hanif, the editor of Asian Express, and a ZEE TV programming executive.

The roadshow, which visited Glasgow, Manchester, Brent, Leicester, Birmingham, Croydon and Slough throughout November, has brought together people from all ages and backgrounds to show off their acting skills for their chance at fame.

O2 is giving someone a shot at international stardom with the chance to win a role in a top Indian soap opera.  O2’s Indian Soap Star is a nationwide competition to find one lucky winner to take a walk-on, speaking part in the international award-winning Zee TV show Pavitra Rishta.

O2’s Indian Soap Star audition teams will be touring the UK starting in Glasgow, Manchester and Brent Cross on the 11 November, followed by Birmingham, Leicester, Slough and Croydon. As well as having an integrated screen test room manned by a videographer, there will also be a Mehndi artist, audition tips and the opportunity to make free international calls. Following auditions, entrants will be narrowed down to a regional winner from each location, before the judging panel comprising of representatives of O2 and Zee TV pick a final winner to be announced in early December on the competition’s Facebook page.

The winner and two friends will get a week of the full Bollywood treatment: return flights to Mumbai, a week’s accommodation in a luxury hotel, spending money – all this on top of filming for the show.

Even those who fail in their bid for soap stardom will still get their moment of fame, as audition videos will be loaded on to the dedicated Indian Soap Star You Tube channel where they will be free to share with friends and family.

Pavitra Rishta, is one of Zee TVs highest rated shows, with 60 million viewers worldwide. It tells the story of a typical family from the Marathi region called the Karanjkars. The lucky winner will feature in a special episode of the show, filmed in India, in a unique role created especially for our new soap star from the UK.

Zee TV has added its own twist to the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ craze with international auditions for its seminal show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Known to have created history as one of the longest running musical competitions on television, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is back with a bang this year! Called ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstars’, the show sets to prove that talent has no boundaries.

Live auditions are taking place across India and an added uniqueness to the show is the participation from across the globe. Zee once again takes on its responsibility of promoting Indian culture worldwide acting as a springboard for showcasing young new talent.

Zee Europe has already seen an overwhelming response to the UK and Europe auditions, with people keen to share their singing skills and seize the opportunity to make their dreams a bright reality. Those lucky enough to be selected will be flown to India to participate in the  various stages of the show with professional guidance and mentoring that  will be invaluable.
