Zee  Punjabi is celebrating the launch of the first ever dedicated Punjabi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa singing competition show, based on Zee TV’s original, winning format with a 15 year pedigree. The launch will be kick started with UK auditions, celebrating the melodious beginning of the new Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee Punjabi…Apni Boli, Apna Mann!

The auditions will providing a unique platform to showcase the UK’s Punjabi singing talent – waiting to be discovered and elevated on to the  a global stage.

The auditions to be held in London and Birmingham in December with judges including high-profile, UK based Punjabi celebrities – Juggy D, Channi Singh and Mona Singh.

Subhash Chandra,
the Founder of Zee Group (its ZEE TV
— India’s first Hindi satellite channel), received the 2011 International
Emmy® Directorate Award.  Mr. Chandra made history by becoming the first
ever Directorate Award recipient from India.  The award was
presented at 39^th International Emmy® Awards, which
took place on Monday, November 21^st at the Hilton New York in New
York City.

mark on the Indian television industry by launching the first privately-owned

The 39^th
International Emmy® Awards were hosted by Jason Priestley, who was
joined on stage by a cast of international celebrity presenters. Actor,

Hills 90210) was hosting for the second consecutive year. He was be joined
on stage by Mr. Parsons, Ms. Panjabi and a cast of presenters including,
