Zee TV has been in a pioneer in showcasing social evils prevalent in the society; especially ones pertaining to women. This time the channel has taken up the cause of ‘domestic violence’ and has addressed this issue through their poignant saga “Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli”. In the story, the lead protagonist raises her voice against domestic violence and educates the masses about the same. Zee TV has a longstanding commitment of addressing social concerns prevalent in India by giving a solution and educating the masses on ways to tackle these issues. These are contents that illuminate the concerns that touch peoples’ lives, socially, politically and economically.
Currently the story revolves around Lata (Namrata Thapa) who has been a victim of domestic violence. Abbha’s (the lead protagonist – Suhai Dhami) father in law, JagMohan takes up Lata’s case, but due to evidence tamper they lose the battle in court. Lata is shattered, and in a fight with her husband Samarjeet, meets with an accident which leads to her miscarriage. After Lata’s miscarriage, Abha decides to get justice and prove her sister innocent. She approaches various NGOs and tries to awaken women against domestic violence. Abha’s struggle to get everyone together and finally make Samarjeet accept his faults will definitely encourage women to stand up against this horrible crime and take appropriate steps to gain justice. Apathy of the police, which is commonplace, has also been highlighted in the show.
Sukesh Motwani, Fiction Head, Zee TV says, “We have had shows like Saat Phere, Ghar ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Karol Bagh to the current track in Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli that tackles the issue of domestic abuse. These are few examples of how we have showcased content ‘With a Social Conscience’. We have also been pioneers in presenting differentiated programming to our audiences with shows like Pavitra Rishta and the most recently Mera Naam Karegi Roshan…each of them establishes to the viewers and the industry how conscientious we are as a Network.”
Watch Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli Mon-Thu @ 1pm only on ZEE TV.

All those of you who have been following DID L’il Masters religiously, its time to know the top 4 finalist a l’il better….
The “Choti Madhuri” from Pune – Vaishnavi Patil is known for her expressive face and her effortless performances. She is the cat amongst the wolves ‘coz she is the only li’l lady left on the show! She is the most versatile dancer and has given breathtaking performances in every show, not one but across myriad dance styles!
Jeetumoni is a hands-down winner as far as popularity is concerned. He is the most “loved” participant … He’s everybody’s darling! The only language he understands is Asamese, given that he hails from that region … his command over Hindi is very slippery. Be it his cute, unique way of pronouncing words “Thora thora” or “Inneda”, Jeetumoni’s diction has always been the butt of all jokes! Farah Khan is head over heels in love with Jeetumoni and wants to take him home after the show. His performance on “Vande Mataram” using the challenging “Malkhamb” dance form and his sweeper act to the song “Idhar chala, mainudhar chala” using a funky broom stick as a prop, he has been the apple of everybody’s eye! He is the the highest voted contestant for the last 3 weeks.
Manoj – the ‘Aloo Paratha boy’ is a powerhouse of energy and the skippers are always advised to channelize his energy well. No one can compete with him when it comes to acts of dare-devilry. He is trained to perform tricks with fire. He belongs to a very poor family. His father works as a mason and his early dance lessons were under his elder brother’s tutelage. He has performed the maximum number of aerial acts on the show.
“Shy guy” Atul’s performances have earned him the nickname “Shy Guy … kadakchai” ‘coz when he takes to the stage his shy mask just slips away and he gets as flamboyant as a boy could ever be! He is Sandeep Sir’s favorite. Atul’s dance is often called “as smooth as a hot knife on butter”! He is very technically sound and can grasp complex steps easily …
So which one of these li’l angels will walk away with the coveted trophy and prove himself to be the “real” dance ka baap? Watch the Grand Finale of DID L’il Masters this weekend @ 7.30pm only on ZEE TV
