Bachchan Jr. celebrates Mithun Da’s B’day on DID Li’l Masters

The cute kids on Zee TV’s DID Li’l Masters haven’t stopped trembling with fright yet … after all, a visit from the ‘Raavan’ is bound to send shivers down their little spines. Yes, Aby’s baby who is currently on a spree marketing his upcoming film landed up on the sets of Zee TV’s immensely popular dance reality show with a twin agenda. Apart from the evident film promotional motive, Abhishek was equally keen to celebrate his favorite Mithun Da’s 63^rd birthday. Ever since he was a child, whenever Dada visited the Bachchan household, little Abhishek would insist that the original “Disco dancer” teaches him some cool moves from his latest dance hits. Abhishek would then use those very moves in all the dance competitions he would participate in as a kid. Ever since, the two have shared a great bond. “Mithun Da holds a very special place in my heart right since my childhood and I’m certainly not letting go of this chance to celebrate his birthday.” It was at Bachchan Jr.’s request that a giant strawberry cake with the letters ‘GM’ denoting ‘Grand Master’ was rolled up on stage. What followed was a grand celebration with the judges, the skippers and the kids digging into the yummy cake and dancing to Abhishek’s popular dance Hit ‘One Love’. While the kids couldn’t get enough of their favorite superstar, you don’t wanna miss Abhishek Bachchan shake a leg to Kajrare Kajrare with the kids on DID Li’l Masters this Sunday, 20^th June at 7:30 PM on ZEE TV.

In the movie Abhishek plays Beera who kidnaps Ragini played by Aishwarya. Ragini is the wife of Dev played by Vikram.  As the story progresses Ragini develops a soft corner for Beera. Dev is a police officer who is posted in Lal Maati, a small north Indian town where the power lies with the tribal Beera. In order to restore law and order, Dev has to conquer Beera. The film which also stars Govinda, Ravi Kishan and Tamil Superstar Vikram.

RAAVAN stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, one of the most internationally sought after actresses, alongside the critically acclaimed Abhishek Bachchan. Directed by Mani Ratnam (who is to be honoured with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the filmmaker award 2010 at the 67th Venice International Film Festival) and fused with the musical genius of music director and Academy Award Winner A R Rahman (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE), RAAVAN is the must-see film of the year.

Zee TV’s popular and immensely loved epic show will soon take a leap in time. The protagonist of the show, the very much loved ‘Manu’, will very soon be played by Kratika Sengar.

If sources are to be believed Kratika is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that she plays the legendary freedom fighter with dignity and élan. Kratika says she’s all kicked about the challenging role she’s been offered.

While we will all miss the immensely talented Ulka Gupta who played the younger Jhansi Ki Rani with aplomb, all eyes are now firmly focused on Kratika Sengar!

Manav Archana’s on-screen divorce to hit the couple’s off-screen togetherness?

So the divorce is actually to go ahead! Did you predict that would happen..?!

With the divorce between Manav and Archana on Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta looking like its going ahead, actors Sushant Singh Rajput (who plays Manav) and Ankita Lokhande (Archana) are a little worried about the quality time the two of them will manage to spend together in the coming days.

Given that the on-screen couple is also a real life couple, the two thoroughly relish every moment they share on the sets of the popular serial. Cooling their heels in their shared vanity van between shots, all the meals that they invariably have on the sets together, the quick, spontaneous shopping sprees the two take off on from the sets are likely to come to a halt if the plot of the show has their characters getting divorced and separating.

If the much touted on-screen divorce between Manav & Archana takes place, Sushant & Ankita may not be required on the sets of Pavitra Rishta at the same time. Apparently, this is turning out to be quite the matter of concern for the lovey dovey twosome who are said to be cribbing about it to practically every sympathetic listener. So will producer Ekta Kapoor pay heed and keep Manav and Archana together on screen?
