Sri Lanka who are on a high after winning the test and one day internationals series against Pakistan will be looking to continue their winning streak as the hosts of the series. But underdogs India under Dhoni’s leadership will be looking to end their dreadful months of defeats by taking a lead of Sri Lanka before they return to the island in September for the Twenty20 World Cup. This tournament thus promises to be nothing short of an action packed ride of cricketing excellence!

Till date India has played 70 matches against England and won 38 of them. The ODI ranking for India is 2 and that of England is 5.

India has the home ground. Also England’s recent performance against Australia give further ingredient to give India an upper hand.
