ZEE MUSIC fans are in for a real treat this autumn as the leading Asian music station in the UK gets a makeover, introduces fresh new programmes and, as a festive treat to millions of Asians living in the UK, goes be FREE TO AIR on Sky Digital.
ZEE MUSIC the first Asian music channel to be launched in this country in 1999 has already captured the hearts of the new gener asians by playing some of the hottest music from the world of Bhangra, Bollywood and Asian pop.
The channel is introducing a host of new shows like Bollywood on Toast, The BIG Gig, Remix Factory, Bhangra Massive and Desi Flava . Based on viewer feedback, Zee is also extending its popular viewer request show Mutz Cutz to an additional slot on Tuesdays Mutz Cutz Pluz. Daminder continues to host the standard setting Jus Bhangra .
Some current favourites like Trendz, Hot Shots and Sorted will now be streamlined into BUZZ, a topical high rotation vignette, alternately presented by Sangeeta, Mistri and Tasmin.
Viewers will get a chance to come closer to their favourite artists who are Marked for the Fortnight. This will include special interviews, behind the scene footage, competitions and artist specific promotions.
