Ambitious plans for the creation of the “Ultimate Asian Experience” have been announced today by Clarion Events NEC. With an investment of £1,000,000 event organisers have attracted support from the World's number one Asian channel, ZEE TV.
Staged at the National Exhibition Centre from 17-19 November this year, the Mela will be a true and genuine celebration of traditional and modern Asian life. The heavily styled exhibition halls will feature top level attractions including fashion shows, cooking theatre, Bollywood cinema, wedding village, fashion arena, careers & commerce and the show highlight – a seated entertainment theatre, hosting the best of Overseas and UK talent.
ZEE TV are riding high on the success of their own London event which recently attracted in excess of 30,000 visitors, and bring proven promotional power and unparalleled Bollywood contacts and influence to the NEC's Mela. Govind Shahi , ZEE's Deputy Country Head, says, “We are delighted to be working with Clarion on this high profile event.
