ZEE declares the nominations for the World's Biggest Viewers' Choice Award
28 December, 2011 – With a legacy that spans thirteen glorious years of Indian cinema, ZEE (Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd), India's popular television, media and entertainment conglomerate will bring Zee Cine Awards 2012 to the Venetian® Macao, one of Asia's prime destinations for leisure and entertainment on January 21, 2012. Today, ZEE unveils its list of nominations across various categories for the World's Biggest Viewers' Choice Award, inviting film enthusiasts from across the globe to send in their votes for their favourite nominees. Lucky winners chosen from amongst those who send in their votes will be flown in to Macau to witness the grand ceremony.
The list of nominations across popular categories declared by Pan Bahar Zee Cine Awards 2012 features stars who have truly made a mark in the year 2011with their outstanding contributions to cinema. With millions of votes pouring in every year from across the globe, Zee Cine Awards has emerged as the most definitive measure of viewers' choice in movie awards.
The movies nominated in the Best Film category include Don 2, Bodyguard, Rockstar, Singham, The Dirty Picture and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The actors vying for the Best actor award this year will be Hrithik Roshan for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Ajay Devgn for Singham, Shah Rukh Khan for Don 2 and Ra.One, Salman Khan for Bodyguard and Ranbir Kapoor for Rockstar. Amongst the leading ladies, the battle is on between Vidya Balan for The Dirty Picture, Priyanka Chopra for Saat Khoon Maaf, Kareena Kapoor for Bodyguard, Kangna Ranaut for Tanu Weds Manu and Katrina Kaif for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
The star-studded awards ceremony hosted by the dynamic duo of Bollywood's undisputed Badshaah Shah Rukh Khan and the Queen of Fashion Priyanka Chopra will be telecast on Zee TV on 5 February 2012. With tributes being paid to the stalwarts of the industry by young guns like Shahid Kapoor, the Zee Cine Awards 2012 promises to be an evening of glitz, glamour and fun filled surprises!
So, with 12 lucky winners being flown down to Macau to attend the grand ceremony of Zee Cine Awards 2012 on January 21, viewers should vote for their favourite stars and send in their nominations at the earliest.
