Learnings of Sikhism – special UK visit on Zee Punjabi's Ek Onkar

In recognising Zee Network's popular Punjabi channel Zee Punjabi for its exemplary service in propagating Sikh values across the globe, the Zee Punjabi team was recently invited to the UK by leading Sikh Organizations.
Zee Punjabi was conferred upon a special honour By Sikh Naari Manch, Birmingham and Khalsa Jattha Gurudwara, London. As a sizeable Punjabi community lives in England, the visiting team interacted with Punjabis on the streets of Southall, and in the Parliament and shared their take on life in England.
The special episode showcasing this visit will be presented on Zee Punjabi's daily show Ek Onkar on Sunday 14 August at 8:30am.
While honouring the Zee Punjabi team in Birmingham, Bibi Gurdev Kaur O.B.E., Chairperson of Sikh Naari Manch-UK said, “'Ek Onkar' is a unique contribution of Zee Punjabi to enlighten viewers on the real perspective of Sikhism and it's true values". Ekonkar is India's first of its kind TV Programme on Gurbani, Sikh religious values, views and news with an objective to give Punjabi viewers an enlightened perspective of Sikhism. The Zee Punjabi team was specially invited to England's oldest and historical Khalsa Jatha Gurudwara, better known as Shepherd Bush Gurudwara in London for the felicitation ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanjay Vohra, Editor, Zee Punjabi, reinforced the channel's commitment to promote and propagate Punjabi language, Punjabi culture and spirituality through News, Devotional Programmes and other programmes on Zee Punjabi.
