 Launched in 2001, Zee Cinema is a 24 hour channel dedicated to Bollywood movie lovers. Zee Cinema with its largest collection of Bollywood films in the world broadcasts no less than six movies a day ranging from the latest blockbusters, lesser known films of a bygone era, films of different genre to renowned classics.
The channel also hosts entertaining Bollywood based shows such as Bollywood Business and Zee Multiplex. Its Friday nights specials and Tuesdays with yesteryear classics are a big draw for the channel.  Zee Punjabi was launched to cater to one of UK’s largest South Asian community, the Punjabi speaking community in 2002 under the original name of Alpha ETC Punjabi. It was rebranded to Zee Punjabi in 2008 keeping the same sentiment and flavour of entertainment attached to the original channel. Zee Punjabi has captured the hearts of this very dominant community in the UK over the years and is still one of the oldest and most popular Punjabi channels in the UK.
The channel addresses specific needs of the Punjabi community through its innovative programming.
